Patsy Wells
Chief Executive Officer

Patsy Wells is an honors graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting. She has twenty years of experience in accounting and audit. Most recently, in international audit at Pennzoil-Quaker State. Patsy along with her lifelong business partner and husband John established Wells Sportfishing, Inc. in 1983. Patsy had ample time during those years to hone her organizational abilities to a fine science. As of June 2003 this company is doing business as Wells Yacht Sales with John at it's helm. Patsy and John bought an established company Lesco Machine (1986) while retaining 90% of the previous company's customers and formed Wells Manufacturing LLC as of July 2002. Patsy has taken the leadership role and the company is building a solid family of clients, primarily through referrals.

Wells Manufacturing LLC is presently a self-certified woman owned business. However, Patsy and the company are working with the SBA and WBEA seeking Women's Business Enterprise Alliance Certification. The company is also presently seeking SBA HUB Certification.

Patsy brings an enthusiastic attitude, a commitment to quality and dedicated drive to assuring that Wells Manufacturing LLC will offer service that is continually improving upon itself.

Patsy is affiliated with various boards and associations; Czech Cultural Center Houston, Former Board of Directors, including Executive Board member, Annual Gala Co-Chairman; Society of Professional Women in Petroleum; Brazosport Chamber of Commerce; CEO Roundtable; Institute of Internal Auditors; Boy Scouts of America and University of Houston Alumni.

James T. Wells
Chief Operations Officer, Industrial Engineer

With a degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M, James has experience in developing and implementing sound business processes, has an in depth knowledge of manufacturing methods, and served as machine shop manager at Cooper Cameron where he was responsible for all aspects of this $8 M/year business.

At Wells Manufacturing, James is responsible for daily operations, as well as increasing revenues and profitability by optimal utilization of current capacity and introduction of new products and services.

In addition, James will continue developing WES, an in house developed database system which handles all the operations transactions.

John M. Wells
Shop Coordinator

A recent Marine Corps Veteran Sergeant who assessed five years experience as a Aviation Technician and has a keen eye for detail and making sure procedures are followed.

At Wells Manufacturing, John's responsibilities are quoting, purchasing, and QC/inspections. John is the coordinator of all Department of Defense as well as other government jobs.

In addition, John manages the Wells Manufacturing web site as well as leads research and development of new products.

John A. Wells
Owner/Advisor

A Texas A&M graduate (’70), with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, John assessed twenty-five years of worldwide executive and marketing experience at Bowen Tools. Most recently serving as Senior VP Marketing.

After retiring from Bowen in March 1998, John began brokering yachts where he developed a proven track record in managing the sale and purchase of client boats. As of May 2003, John established Wells Yacht Sales (Wells Sportfishing, Inc. (1983) dba Wells Yacht Sales). In a short period of time a substantialnumber of listings were acquired. In addition, retention of 100% of previously developed clients occurred. By keen negotiation , transaction and deal making skills John is building a viable, attractive and profitable business.

John is leading the marketing campaign at Wells Manufacturing by acting in the role of Chairman and Advisor. Never more then a phone call away and ready to step forward should the need arise.
